I'm sorry I just have to comment on this one. I did a lot with XP, had it tweaked to my liking and was not in any hurry for anything "new" from Microsoft, especially an OS. Sure enough, change came to me sooner than expected, Win7 forced on me. Yup, they moved some familiar stuff around, renamed it(thanks that helps on those items). However, I had to get things going and fast so I plowed into, griped at it a bit, but.... hold on.... I'm liking it now. In fact after the first week, I was sold. There was some new stuff for me! I didn't know I wanted or needed, but I wouldn't go back to XP anymore than I'd go back to Windows for Workgroups. I'm sold on Win 7.
They say the only certainty in life is Death and Taxes. I like to add Change to that, we seem to be getting much more these days. Microsoft won't make XP for ever and are trying to wean us off it already. It's time and this change is not that bad, you'll get used to before too long and then be hooked like me.
