We started our rounds of rollout presentations for SolidWorks 2010 yesterday. At one of the breaks I had a customer come up to me and ask about one specific function that he saw when I was showing the drawings portion of the presentation. The function was dragging and dropping a note onto a stack of notes that was pre-existing in the drawing. While the drag and drop function was no mystery he wanted to know how to create the file that you could drag and drop into the drawing. The file type that we are talking about here is actually a .sldnotestl. The file type is easy to create and save into the user library.
